A proud descendant of the Wiradjuri people, Ella Havelka is most known for being the first Aboriginal dancer to join The Australian Ballet. Raised in regional New South Wales, she graduated from The Australian Ballet School in 2007 and is an alumnus of Bangarra Dance Theatre. A multi-disciplinary artist, dancer, choreographer, weaver, and cultural consultant, Ella uses dance and cultural storytelling to empower future generations and advocate for social equity.
