After studying literature, she began her artistic career as a photography. Since 1975, she has worked as a journalist and photographer for the Etelaat newspaper in Tabriz. One of her most important photography projects during this period is the photography of the leprosy in Baba Baghi. In the same year, she began her collaboration with the Cinema-ye Javan Tabriz and made the 8mm films "Galin" and "Enhetat". With the outbreak of the Islamic Revolution, the production of her 3rd film about the Bakhcheban School for the Deaf remained unfinished. After the revolution, she continued her career as a children's educator.
